This month I'm reading Willie James Jennings, "The Christian Imagination: Theology and the Origins of Race." A friend offered to read it with me so we can talk about it.
I read The Water Dancer over the weekend; it was so good. Today I posted a picture of 10 of my favorite books (I'm Still Here was one of them) and I offered to send anyone a copy of any of them if they promised to read it. I'm sure I will post a quote or two a day and just keep on keeping on.
Each day I am reading the Equal Justice Initiative Calendar of A History of Racial Injustice and I just ordered the book "Four Hundred Souls". Thanks for all that you do.

Thank you so much for the, "...make the revolution irresistible." quote! It's going up on my fridge!
A few of the authors+ who have broken through time and geography (and all the other hurdles) and informed and inspired my commitment to revolution:
You, Austin Channing Brown,
Ibram X Kendi,
Baratunde Thurston,
Louise Erdrich (shout out to the Petoskey District Library for holding a community read of The Night Watchman).

I need to pick that book up for myself!
