I was there to participate in a few discussions around representation and storytelling and it was inspiring and exhausting (your girl is an introvert after all). Yes Yes Yes. I’m currently running two companies and often feel like I have no idea what I’m doing I just know I’m safer than I ever was.
It’s painful for an ouch to not be believed. I’ve learned to move on from those spaces. Where I’m not affirmed, I’m not protected. I’m not safe.
