Happy BOOK LAUNCH DAY!!! For an author, this is like your birthday, your first day of school, your graduation and your kids first day off to college all rolled into one (I’m guessing on that last part since my kiddo is in kindergarten and that is still a ways off but everything else I can stand by)!!!

Goodreads is not broken so you can leave a review there right away! If you don’t want to re-write it for Amazon, you can just copy and paste what you already wrote! As my kid says “easy peasy lemon squeazy!”
Aside from pre-orders leaving reviews is the best way you can show support. Thank you to those who have already left Goodread reviews!!!
BIGGEST REVIEW TIP: DO IT SOONER RATHER THAN LATER! 😉 But here’s a few more tips if you are having writers block (and you can honestly never go wrong with a simple “I loved this book”)!

I already pre-ordered your NEW BOOK, so I messaged my wonderful local library--Petoskey District Library--and suggested that they buy the original "I'm Still Here" AND the young readers version. When they say they have bought them (and I'm pretty sure they will), then I'll suggest it for their community read. Oh, maybe a multi-generational community read?
Thank you for writing a young-readers version. I will pass it on to my two multi-racial grandkids someday. (They are 3 years old now.) Actually, maybe I'll pass it on to their adoptive parents (white, always learning, always keeping them connected with his Black mom, sibs, cousins, etc., and always trying to find them opportunities to build relationships with more Black people.) as soon as I finish it. Or I'll buy them their own copy if I can't part with it, like the original! I originally borrowed it through the inter-library system, then bought it because I loved it so much!
