Yes. I've been adamantly against voting for Biden as a result of his support of the genocide in Palestine, but I'm pretty sure that any other vote would go to Trump and that frightens me even more. Not only are we in a place where we have to vote against someone, but we have to pick the lesser of so many evils. So I will stand with you and hope that there is something we can do to change this administrations response to the horrors in Gaza And avoid the additional horrors that would befall people of color, trans folks, etc. etc. with another DT presidency.

I just want to acknowledge that it’s really painful not having a viable candidate who represents how we feel about Gaza.

Flip. The. Ticket. It wouldn't solve everything but it works. Joe could "advise" Kamala.

I like the sentiment, but this country isn’t voting for a Black woman unless her name is Michelle Obama.

Austin, I'm still here (jokes!) and not giving up hope (especially since Biden is off the ticket). ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love the idea, but white supremacy is real. Signed, a Coastal GA white girl

Thank you for sharing your perspective on this issue. I know that many of the people I serve are conflicted about what to do. It is good for them, and me, to hear the candid perspectives of others... those who are deeply affected by our decisions, our actions, and our inaction.

Yes. All this. I dissent, and I vote.

I'm so lucky to live in Canada where we have 3 viable parties to choose from and sometimes a 4th the Green party makes some good headway during elections and could function as a partner in a minority govt on rare occasions. We have had the blessing of having to live with minority governments formed by 2 parties which means that there has to be some serious give and take. And these minority governments have lasted to full term provincially and federally. Is it possible that in the US a third party might win enough seats that if the Democratic party doesn't they could form a minority government? It would mean in a select few states the Democratic party might withdraw its member in favour of the 3rd party. If this sounds too crazy I apologize.

Has this shifted for you since Biden endorsed Kamala Harris for President?
