During the last Troublemakers Q&A our friend Stephanie asked, “What is your advice to those of us working in faith-based institutions who must, lovingly, address constituent concerns about CRT?” We discussed it a little but because almost everyone on the call seemed to be grappling with the same question, I wanted to follow up here.
First, I strongly encourage you to read this short article. I think it does a good job of describing what Critical Race Theory actually is, why it’s become such a big talking point in politics, and describes the social anxieties behind the backlash.
