New Year, New Newsletter Day!

Dear Troublemakers,

Happy Friday! As I’ve reshuffled my schedule around to make space for another newsletter, more IG Lives with people I love, and loads of other stuff I promise I won’t just keep teasing forever, I realized I needed to re-work when I work on this here newsletter. And as Friday is one of the best days of the week, and Monday is NOT, here we are. Now with another thing to TGIF for.

This week has felt tiring and dizzying as an opportunity I had been working on and dreaming about for 8 long months came to a (honestly sorta dramatic) close. Maybe someday I’ll share details, but today I’m leaning hard into abundance over scarcity mindset, that there are more than enough chances. That I can still dream. But that is no small thing as a Black woman in America in 2022.

I have been so grateful for my community, for conversations with old friends like Christena Cleveland and new ones like Tracey Michae'l Lewis-Giggetts, for the reminder that I’m not the only Black girl with some …
